For as long as I can remember I’ve been passionate about both business and technology. I could tell you the stories about starting lemonade stands at the age of 4, and hounding my parents for a computer at the age of 8, but I think I’ll save those for another day.
I’ve got my own kids now, and the harder they make me work, the more I realise I need to apologise to my own parents for all of the grief I’m sure I put them through with my lemonade stands and pestering for computers.
I’m still passionate about business and technology, but these days I combine that with a love of teaching, sharing, and working with other passionate people to help them develop and grow themselves and their businesses.
I spend a large part of my time running Grassroots IT, the Brisbane based IT Consultancy and Managed Services Provider that I co-founded in 2006 with my wife Annie (otherwise known as Mummalove). When I can find free time I love photography, running, and learning how to grow a vegetable garden.
The Power Up Project is for passionate entrepreneurs, founders and small business owners just like you. We thrive on your feedback, questions and ideas, so please get in touch either via the Contact Us page, or on social media.
